Jumpstart Camps for Students
Weeklong, working camps that will give students a chance to learn more about the college application process and get a head start. Topics include:
- How to approach the college admissions process.
- Finding a college that will be a good fit for you.
- Understanding the admissions process from the college perspective including how rankings are determined.
- How colleges look at applications and the key things they want to see on your profile.
- How to maximize a college visit both before and after, and how to effectively engage with the admission office.
- How to populate and highlight an application with extra-curricular strengths and achievements. Includes creating a resume and filling out a practice application.
- How to craft a memorable essay that shows a depth of thought and clearly demonstrates how your mind works.
